The rebel army grew to over 40,000 men and moved west. In their path is the city of Yekaterinburg, where the royal family had been under house arrest for four months.
With the clear danger that the royal family might end up in enemy hands, the local Checka are ordered to prevent them from becoming a focus for dissent.
On July 16th, 1918 they are told to assemble in a store room where they will be taken somewhere safe.
After 300 years the Romanov Dynasty was ended.
